《西北学术》的科技内容及其主旨

运用科学史研究方法，对《西北大学学报》的前身之一《西北学术》的科技史价值和办刊宗旨进行讨论。认为该刊为20世纪40年代西北大学的最高学术论坛，其有关西北国防化、西北学术思想、西北地理、西北物理学会的研究和活动等内容，突出了西北大学的区域特色。     

Impact of the closure of Indonesian seaway on climate: A numerical modeling study

Using a global OGCM and its relevant coupled ocean-atmosphere GCM with the contemporary, 6 MaBP and 14 MaBP oceanic topography, respectively, a series of numerical experiments are implemented in order to investigate the effect of the north shift of Australian continent on the tropical oceanic circulation, especially the formation of the western Pacific warm pool. The numerical experiments of the individual OGCM forced by the modern atmospheric circulation indicate that the closure of Indonesian passage results in warming in the tropical Pacific Ocean and cooling in the tropical Indian Ocean; furthermore, it also results in change in source of the Indonesian Through Flow (ITF) water, e.g. ITF mainly originates from the south Pacific at 14 MaBP, but it mainly originates from the north Pacific now. The coupled model shows similar results as the individual OGCM qualitatively.     

浅析联总援华物资中的美军剩余物资

抗日战争结束后，联合国救济善后总署(以下简称“联总”)紧急采购大批美军剩余物资，用以帮助中国恢复经济；来自太平洋战区的部分剩余物资货箱品名混乱，货单极不完备，给物资移交、处置工作造成极大困难，并在联总和行总之间引起一系列误会和龃龉；经过在上海就地装配修理，绝大部分剩余物资陆续投入使用，有力地促进了我国战后交通和工矿业的恢复。     

西北太平洋热带气旋气候特征及其变化研究的若干进展

为了对我国气象工作者全面了解和参与热带气旋的研究有所帮助,在大量阅读和调研的基础上,介绍了近20年西北太平洋热带气旋活动在季节、年际和年代际尺度上研究的若干主要成果.重点阐述了EN-SO与热带气旋的关系,温室效应热带气旋的数值模拟和观测研究等的最新动态.     

西北太平洋柔鱼资源丰度时空分布的GAM模型分析

根据1996~2001年我国在西北太平洋海域柔鱼生产统计及相关数据,利用GAM模型分析了表温、月份、经纬度等因子对柔鱼资源丰度CPUE的影响.研究认为,经纬度、月份和表温对CPUE时空分布都有较大的影响.160°E以西海域CPUE高,而165°E以东海域低,并主要集中在40°N~43°N海域.8~10月CPUE为最大.不同海域柔鱼分布的适宜表温不相同,150°E以西海域为13~18℃,150°E~165°E海域为14~18℃,165°E~180°E海域为11~14℃.

Association of a juvenile phoretic uropodid mite with the beach hopper Traskorchestia traskiana (Stimpson, 1857) (Crustacea: Talitridae)

A phoretic association of an undescribed uropodid deutonymph (Acari: Uropodidae) with the beach hopper Traskorchestia traskiana (Crustacea: Talitridae) is examined. Only juvenile mites (deutonymphs) were found attached to the coxal gills of the 257 beach hoppers examined. Both prevalence (range = 27·1–75·0%) and mean intensity (range = 1·3–3·7) increased as host size increased, possibly due to increased exposure time to the mites and a greater area for attachment in larger hosts. Among the gills, the mites exhibited a preference for coxal gill 5, which may be due to pH and humidity gradients but did not seem to be influenced by grooming or agitation of the gills by adjacent appendages.     

The genus Coralaxius redefined,with the description of two new species (Crustacea: Decapoda: Axiidae)

The genus Coralaxius is rediagnosed, and the type species C. nodulosus (Meinert, 1877), the holotype of which was found to be identical with C. abelei Kensley and Gore, 1982, is redescribed. The two new species of Coralaxius are described, viz. C. galapagensis from the Galapagos Islands, and C. indopacificus from Fiji and the Comoro Islands. On the basis of carapace, gill and appendage characters, it is concluded that C. indopacificus is more primitive than the other two species. The genus is thought to have had a tethyan distribution, with the eastern Pacific representative being cut off from the western Atlantic form with the raising of the Isthmus of Panama.

天牛(鞘翅目Coleoptera:天牛科Cerambycidae)为树木重要的钻蛀性害虫.本文研究了伊朗西北部Arasbaran生物圈保护区及邻近地区的天牛种类,采集鉴定了5个亚科26属33种,提供了一些种类的植物寄主.
